Cancer is so limited… It cannot cripple love It cannot shatter hope It cannot corrode faith It cannot destroy peace It cannot kill friendship It cannot suppress memories It cannot silence courage It cannot invade the soul It cannot steal eternal life It cannot conquer the spirit”Cancer touches everyone

Dealing with your parents terminal illness can be hard on everyone.

All parents want the best for their children and yes it can be hard for a parent with the terminal illness to think about what their children needs are during that time.

Your life might change and the roles may be reversed, where you have to take care of your parents.

Here are a few steps to make it easier:

-Show them affection, a foot massage would do.

-Get nursing help, it may become tough going in and out of hospital and trying to maintain the household.

-Don’t fight with your sibling, this causes additional stress on the patient.

-Take them out, do fun activities together. This will take their mind of the emotions that they might be feeling.

-Support them

For all the cancer patients out there remember:

Cancer is so limited…
It cannot cripple love
It cannot shatter hope
It cannot corrode faith
It cannot destroy peace
It cannot kill friendship
It cannot suppress memories
It cannot silence courage
It cannot invade the soul
It cannot steal eternal life
It cannot conquer the spirit”
